Far Cry 5 Plane Controls

Holy fuck airplane controls

They are 100% broken. Who the hell thought information technology would be useful to apply ane stick to control your plane? Literally every other game with planes uses both sticks. I've simply spent xx minutes on a Clutch mission to fly a airplane before quitting and so close to an hour on John's mission until I had to stop earlier I threw my controller out the window. For the love of God Ubisoft, fix this shit.

I crashed my plane into John and when I respawned he was on the ground. Was super accidentally like shooting fish in a barrel!

I changed the control scheme, which helped.

I don't know why the last two Ubisoft games with aircraft went out of their way to make flying so terrible.

Wildlands did the same matter. Fans complained enough to get them to modify the helicopter controls, but they left the plane controls every bit horrible as possible.

I don't find planes in Wildlands to be that hard to fly. Of course at that place'due south no dogfighting on that game, which could be the reason.

Go in the control settings and switch from shooter to classic. Odds are your helicopter and car settings are also defaulting to shooter

It'south super easified, or dumbed downwardly. You want to go left you lot press left, you want to go up yous press upward. Don't get me wrong I love battlefield's circuitous helicopter piloting, simply it's necessary in a game like this. I like that I haven't died from crashing an shipping. I like how you can unrralistically point the olfactory organ of the helicopter anywhere, like a turret, without the helicopter moving. You can indicate almost straight down and hover in place, super helpful for situations in the woods.

Yeah that'south just fucking swell. Reload to previous checkpoint and I'chiliad nevertheless in the god damned Cessna. Fuck this game and fuck the idiots who wrote information technology. Ok...Quit Mission. Thank fucking god. And on the other hand the hunting is fun. More than hunting, less flight for me.

The way I was finally able to do it is to get a Jeep with a motorcar gun and merely shoot him from the basis. Call in your airplane buddy (I totally forgot his name) for some extra help.
